1. Information We Collect
Account Information
Email address - Required for account creation and authentication
Display name - Optional, for personalization
Profile avatar - Selected from our provided options
App Usage Data
Schedules and tasks - Your created schedules, events, and time blocks
User preferences - App settings like theme, notification preferences, and default scheduling options
Usage analytics - Anonymous data about how you use the app to help us improve functionality
Authentication Data
We use Clerk (a trusted third-party service) to handle secure user authentication. Clerk manages your login credentials and provides secure access tokens.
2. Google Services Data Access
Plannr allows users to optionally connect their Google account to enable calendar and task integration features.
Google Calendar Data
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Plannr may access:
Calendar lists (to create or identify a dedicated “Plannr” calendar)
Calendar events within selected date ranges
Event metadata (title, start/end time, description)
Purpose of access:
To add events created in Plannr to your Google Calendar
To read existing calendar events so Plannr can avoid scheduling conflicts
To help you visualize and manage your time more effectively
Plannr does not modify or delete existing Google Calendar events unless explicitly initiated by you.
Google Tasks Data
If you choose to connect Google Tasks, Plannr may access:
Task lists
Task titles, due dates, and completion status
Purpose of access:
To import tasks from Google Tasks into Plannr
To help you consolidate and organize tasks across platforms
Plannr does not create, update, or delete Google Tasks unless explicitly enabled in the future.
Scope of Access
Plannr only accesses Google data with your explicit consent, and only for the features you choose to enable.
You can revoke Google access at any time via your Google Account settings or within Plannr.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
Secure Cloud Storage
Your scheduling data is securely stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted on trusted cloud infrastructure. This allows you to:
Access your schedules across multiple devices
Automatically sync your data when you log in
Recover your schedules if you switch devices
Data Security
All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Database connections are secured with industry-standard protocols
User passwords are handled by Clerk’s secure authentication system
Access controls ensure only you can access your data
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide core functionality - Create, store, and sync schedules
Integrate third-party services - Import and export calendar and task data
Personalize your experience - Remember preferences and settings

5. Third-Party Services
Clerk Authentication
Purpose: Secure user authentication and account management
Data shared: Email address, basic profile information

Google APIs
Plannr uses Google Calendar API and Google Tasks API to enable optional integrations.
Data accessed: Calendar events, calendar metadata, task lists, and tasks

Cloud Infrastructure
Purpose: Secure data storage and application hosting
Security: Industry-standard encryption and access controls
6. Data Retention
Active accounts: Data is retained while your account remains active
Inactive accounts: Accounts inactive for 2+ years may be deleted after notice
Account deletion: You may request permanent deletion at any time
Backups: Deleted data is removed from backups within 30 days

Plannr is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International Users
Your data may be processed on servers located in different countries. By using Plannr, you consent to this processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes:
The “Last updated” date will be revised
Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice
Continued use constitutes acceptance
